FLARED JEANS




Take me back to the 70's. Flared jeans are AWESOME! For those of you who want to elongate their legs, flared jeans are perfect. A pair of (high) heels is kind of a must, but having painful feet isn't that bad knowing your legs look at least 10 centimeters longer. I wore a long loose shirt on top of it since I am already really tall myself, but try combining the jeans with a shorter top if you want to show off more!

MY BLUE KIMONO


Morning monkeys! What have you been up to? Any exciting news I need to hear about? Today I'm showing you one of my favorite summer buys: my blue kimono. My sister mentioned that this post should be having more pictures, to show more of the total outfit (I was wearing a bikini underneath - go figure - two different prints, really cute if you ask me). I totally agree with her on that part! Unfortunately this wasn't one of my best shooting days - don't we all know those 'off days'? - and when we shot these the sun was going down so we didn't have that much time. A shortage of time + shooting an outfit + an off day + me = not that many useable pictures. 
Long story short (am I rambling yet?), even though I can't show you much of this look, I still wanted to show you this kimono. Such an easy way to cover up with when you're going to the pool, beach or actually just to about anywhere if the weather allows you to. These kind of items don't only look good with a bikini, but also combined with jeans shorts and a T-shirt they rock!

IT'S SO FLUFFY


I have been having the best time ever since I bought this cotton candy-like jacket everyone around me has wanted to either hug me, cuddle me or pet me. I have never felt so loved by so many people (including ones that I don't even actually know that well) in such a short amount of time. Therefore I decided this jacket is gonna be my new best friend and I think I should just wear it any time I feel a bit down and need a hug (from anyone)! Also, it kind of reminds me of the little girl from the movie Despicable that screams It's so fluffyyyyyy I'm gonna die! when she points out to a stuffed animal she sees at the fair (not that I want to be compared with a stuffed animal much, but still). Besides, this jacket just looks freaking amazing I think! Would you agree?

PHILIPS CITISCAPE x FASHIOLISTA


A few weeks ago I scouted the streets of Amsterdam looking for stylish boys and girls. Individuals with a strong sense of personal style. After chitchatting with them about how they would complete their look with the cool (and comfy!) Philips Citiscape headphones, I was able to give each of them an actual pair! It was really fun to see how happy everyone was the headphones. All these smiles instantly made me smile also! That, and the fact I felt kind of like Santa Claus when giving away these presents!

OLD LOVE


The moment something hung in your closet for so long, neh becomes yeah again! That is exactly how I felt about this top. I can remember me wanting to throw it away or sell it or anything just to get rid of it, but after a while (I'm talking about a few years I guess) my love for this top seemed to grow again. So much I actually wore it to a little wine date with my sister!

OUTFIT | CITISCAPE HEADPHONES


Music. That thing people can't live without. That gives people goosebumps, makes them cry or smile. That people are inspired by. That magic thing. My weekend countdown usually starts on Wednesday. When Friday finally comes around I will be the first to poor myself a glass of relaxation and turn up the music. These moments put a definite smile on my face. The funny thing is that even though I am aware of the fact that music can have this effect on me, I have never really taken the time to invest in a good pair of music earphones or headphones. The 'until now' part that follows up on this was probably a predictable one. UNTIL NOW! Thanks to Fashiolista and Philips I got the chance to try out the new Philips Citiscape headphones. Army green colored, light weighted, super comfy and easy to add on to the urban-casual look I love to go with. With these on my head the weekend can't start soon enough!
