Snowboots or peeptoes?

Wake up, wake up! Another icy Sunday is waiting for us here in Amsterdam! I took these pictures last week, just because I thought all the iced up waters looked so pretty. The sight of the white covered land is for sure beautiful, BUT.. this gets old fast. At least, the cold gets old fast. I feel like the taste of sunlotion, the smell of burned skin, oh and don't forget the afternoon get-togethers in the park accompanied by a glass of cold wine and gitar music played by an unknown stranger a few feet away. But then on the other hand I can't wait to go on our skiing trip to Austria next week. Hopefully this will kind of be the best of both worlds: lots op snow covered mountains and a bright shining sun!

What about you? What do you think? Will we be wearing skirts and peeptoes soon, or will we have to buckle up and get ready for an icy ride?
